Soirée Tableau
Soiree tableau is a growing tableware brand based in Seattle. Inspired by the vibrant spirit of social gatherings and the timeless elegance of well-set tables, Soiree Tableau embarked on a mission to create plates that do more than just serve food.
This new brand needed a logo that feels universal. And it needed a simple, recognizable visual theme.
Visual Identity
The strategy focuses on highlighting elegance and minimalism. We developed a concept centered around various shades of purple, aiming for a design that emphasizes sophistication and luxury while maintaining a minimalist, contemporary aesthetic. The visual identity features thin-font typography, a rich contrast of dark purple and white, and pastel backgrounds, bringing luxury and simplicity to every table setting.
Logo System
The logo design for Soirée Tableau embodies the brand’s core values of elegance, minimalism, and artistry. Drawing inspiration from the two essential elements—the brush and the plate—the logo seamlessly blends these symbols to reflect both the artistic nature of the brand and its iconic tableware products.
Color Palette
The color palette is inspired by the brand signature colors, and the use of the brand mark across elements from buttons and zips to labels is a stamp of quality that elevates every piece.
Typography
Nexus Mix Pro's is the primary typeface. It blends of modern and classic elements, combined with its readability and elegance, conveying a sense of sophistication and refinement.
Noto Sans pairs well with Nexus Mix Pro because it offers a clean, modern contrast that enhances visual hierarchy while maintaining harmony.
Illustrations
When creating social media posts, we tried to consistently use brand colors to create a cohesive look and feel. Illustrations can enhance the storytelling for a nautical-themed restaurant, but we want to use them as subtle background elements, ensuring they don’t overpower the design.
